Truck tyre assistance for depots, yards and safe stopping places
For a truck tyre enquiry, the exact vehicle, wheel position, tyre construction and location determine the equipment and stock required. We check independent commercial tyre specialists and confirm the available option before booking.

Start with the wheel position and tyre specification
Truck tyres vary by axle, application, casing and load requirement. Send the full tyre markings, vehicle type and whether the affected wheel is on the steer, drive or trailer axle. Explain whether the tyre has lost pressure, suffered visible damage or requires planned replacement.
For fleet vehicles, a unit number and precise yard location can make access easier. Tell us if the vehicle is loaded, coupled to a trailer or subject to site rules that affect lifting or working space.
Depot and roadside working conditions
A depot, loading yard or service area can be suitable when the surface is firm and level and site management permits the work. Share gate instructions, security requirements and operating hours before attendance is arranged.
A live carriageway is not a tyre-fitting area. If the truck is exposed to moving traffic, follow the operator’s emergency procedure and contact the relevant recovery or emergency service. A fitter should only be arranged after the vehicle reaches a protected position.
Assessment before repair
Pressure loss may come from tread penetration, a valve, wheel damage or another cause. Repairability depends on construction, damage location, remaining condition and how the tyre was used after losing air. A replacement may be required even when the initial symptom appears minor.
Truck tyre questions
Information fleet operators often need
Can you arrange assistance at a distribution yard?
Potentially, when the yard permits the work and provides safe access, a suitable surface and enough clearance around the vehicle.
Do you cover trailer tyres as well as tractor units?
Availability can be checked for both, but the exact axle position and tyre markings are needed before a suitable fitter can be identified.
Can a truck tyre be repaired at the roadside?
Only after the vehicle is in a genuinely safe working position, and only if an inspection confirms the damage and tyre condition are repairable.
Do you guarantee commercial tyre stock?
No. Stock depends on the specification and what suitable independent fitters can supply at that time.
What if the vehicle is on a motorway?
Move to a protected location when possible and follow emergency or recovery guidance. Do not arrange tyre work in a live or exposed lane.
Can planned fleet replacements be discussed?
Yes. Provide the quantity, sizes, site details and required timing so network availability can be checked.
Reduce vehicle downtime
Send the truck tyre specification
Provide the exact location, wheel position and tyre markings for a relevant availability check.
